"TRAVEL THROUGH TIME"








REUNION FOR PARKLAND COMMUNITY RESIDENTS!



For more than 25 years, Parklands Community Center (PCC)
based in Ward 8 has work to strengthen the community by offering services that promote healthy family relationships.


On Saturday, May 3rd from 7:00pm-10:00pm, Parklands Community Center is sponsoring "Travel Through Time," a reunion for residents of the Parklands Community. Refreshments, music and dancing are planned; along with a number of long time residents being honored for their service to the community. Tickets are $25.00 and will benefit PCC. This event will be held in the gymnasium of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington @ THEARC. WHAT IS PARKLANDS COMMUNITY CENTER?

Parklands Community Center (PCC) at THEARC seeks to strengthen the community by promoting healthy family relationships including case management, parenting courses, a parent support group, family-counseling, and social service referrals. PCC's approach includes family counseling, life-skills, parent support training, social service referrals and family bonding activities. All services provided by Parklands Community Center are free of charge.
