"WAKE UP PEOPLE" and "TRAVEL THROUGH TIME"

Parklands Community Center (PCC) has been based in Southeast Washington, DC for more than 25 years. PCC works to strengthen the community by offering services that promote healthy family relationships, including case management, parenting courses, a parent support group, family-counseling, and social service referrals. PCC will offer two events for the community in April and May. First, on Thursday, April 24th from 6:30pm-8:30pm in THEARC Theater, Parklands is sponsoring a free seminar focused on finding real solutions to strengthen homes and relationships.

On Saturday, May 3rd from 7:00pm-10:00pm, PCC is sponsoring "Travel Through Time", a renunion for residents of the Parklands Community. Refreshments, music and dancing are planned, with a number of long time residents of the Parklands Community being honored for their service to the community. Tickets are $25.00 and will benefit PCC. This event will be held in the gymnasium of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Washington @ THEARC.
